Used some of the day looking back at photos I took of Shaun Bartlett in September last year.
It reminded me how much I miss the summer light and going outside without layers and layers of clothing.
Norwegian winter is great if you like falling on hard ice, 1 hour of good daylight, clothes so heavy you can barely move, constantly scraping the ice of your windshield and people who always complain about icy roads (includes me). I don´t like that. I like walking on dry ground, photographing in good light conditions, ice-free windshield and happy smiling people (including me in the summer).
The good thing is that now I see the days are getting longer, and the inspiration is coming back. So in about 2 months I will be the happiest earthling alive.
Note to self: Don´t retouch summer photos in the middle of the winter.
Here are some more photos of the great summer day. You should also take the time to listen to some of Shaun´s music: http://www.myspace.com/shaunbartlett
